Fresh Fruit Ice cream

Ice cream is something which very few can resist and be laden with sugar few can relish it guilt-free.

I simply loved the fresh mango ice cream made by my friend's mother, Jyoti Karkhanis which didn't require much sugar due to the presence of fresh fruit.

 

To make it healthier I used jaggery instead of sugar in her recipe and my guilt-free indulgence was ready!!

Any fresh fruit can be used. I have tried this recipe with Mango, Chikoo & Muskmelon. All are equally delicious. Share this recipe with all the ice cream lovers.

Try adding different fruits to experience different flavors together!!

Ingredients: (Serves 4)

 

  • Chopped fresh fruit - 1cup (If you want, you can add more)

  • Jaggery -1 cup

  • Milk powder - 1 cup

  • Cream (Homemade Malai will also do) - 1 cup

  • Milk - 1/2 cup

  • Put everything in mixer/ blender and blend it nicely into a smoothie. 

 

Freeze mixture for 3-4 hours and the ice-cream is ready to serve.
