Things to read II.jpg

Physical activity has significant health benefits for hearts, bodies and minds. It improves your brain health, maintains your weight, and strengthens your bones and muscles. Besides reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety, physical activity enhances thinking, learning, and judgment skills. It helps in improving overall well-being and ensures healthy growth and development.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), people who are inactive have a 20% to 30% increased risk of death compared to people who are sufficiently active. The American Heart Association (AHA) suggests at least 150 minutes per week of moderate exercise or 75 minutes per week of vigorous exercise. Thirty minutes a day for five times a week is an easy goal to keep your system active but even exercising 15 minutes a day for 3 days a week is enough for good health. Some studies suggested that running 1km daily is also a good form of physical workout.

But before choosing any plan, it is important to understand your system. It is equally important to differentiate between being fit and skinny. When you work out, your goal should be to maintain a healthy weight and to become stronger. You must not concentrate on starving or over-exerting your body to become skinny. Daily workout and proper nutrition will keep you fit and healthy.

According to research, making yourself a fat-burning machine or skinny leads to muscle and neuronal loss as well as sometimes organ failure. The skinny body can be achieved through any plan but maintaining it with endurance and strength is essential.
